The Korea Industrial Intelligence Association announced that 21Century Co., Ltd. was selected as the “next world’s top product producer in 2023” and won the award at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy’s certificate ceremony on November 9. The world’s top products are the government’s official brand certification of excellent products and producers leading the global market, and were first introduced in 2001 and 957 items and 1,073 companies have been selected so far this year.
Top global product selection companies can receive benefits and support from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Corporation, IBK Industrial Bank, Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, Korea Technology Guarantee Fund, and Korea Authorized Inspection Service. At the ceremony, the Ministry of Industry awarded 73 items and 78 companies with certificates of world-class products and producers. In addition, 50 overseas buyers and 150 domestic companies participated in the export consultation meeting held with the award ceremony, and four export contracts and business agreements (MOUs) worth $64 million were signed at the consultation meeting.
Since its foundation in 1996, 21Century Co., Ltd. has developed into a company that develops and produces core precision parts in domestic and international markets. The 21Century, which laid the foundation for technological independence in the Korean parts industry based on the production of PCD inserts and tools at the time of its foundation, diversified its business area with the production of blades and wheel cutters in the 2000s, and in 2005, it focused on the development of next-generation promising new products such as ultra-precise parts using lasers. 21st Century Co., Ltd. was not only selected as a next-generation world-class product producer, but was also certified as a next-generation world-class product in recognition of its contribution to the development of a “vacuum Plate.”
