21st Century Co., Ltd. announced on the 9th that it was selected as the next-generation world-class product producer in 2023 and won the award at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy certificate ceremony held at Grand Intercontinental Parnas.
The Ministry of Industry awarded certificates of world-class products and producers to 73 items and 78 companies at the event, and 50 overseas buyers and 150 domestic companies participated in the export consultation meeting, and four export contracts and business agreements worth $64 million were signed at the consultation meeting.
The world’s top products were first introduced in 2001 as the government’s official brand certification for excellent products and producers leading the global market, and 957 items and 1,073 companies have been selected so far this year.
Since its foundation in 1996, 21st Century Co., Ltd. has developed into a company that develops and produces core precision parts not only in Korea but also around the world. At the time of its foundation, it laid the foundation for technological independence in the Korean parts industry based on the production of PCD inserts and tools, diversified its business area with the production of Blade and Wheel Cutters in the 2000s, and focused on developing next-generation promising new products such as ultra-precise parts using Laser in the 2005s.
In addition, it was certified as a next-generation world-class product in recognition of its contribution to the development of “vacuum mold” at this award ceremony.
